Stacy is a long term industry specialist with over 10 years experience providing equine intimate health services. In 2023,

Stacy created and developed the world’s first accredited and insurable training package which helped to share her knowledge and skills and most importantly, helped people set up their own business within this growing industry.

As the founder of the Equine Intimate Health Federation, Stacy strives to achieve excellence throughout the industry and work with other professionals in a legally compliant and supportive way.

Stacy attends regular CPD events with leading industry professionals including Professor Knottenbelt and The Royal Veterinary College and organises regular CPD training for students and graduates of her programs.

    5. Basic Equine Care Equipment – While the course will guide you on specific kit creation, you will need an up to standard safety hat for your practical assessment as well as adequate closed toe boots.

    We specialise in teaching those new to the industry.

    However, having some basic equine care experience will be beneficial and therefore being confident handling horses is a specific requirement to undertake the course.

    1. Basic Horse Care Knowledge – Understanding general equine care, such as grooming, feeding, and handling, will make learning the specific intimate health aspects easier. If you’re familiar with horses and their needs, you'll be able to apply this knowledge in a more focused way.

    2. Comfort Around Horses – Experience with being around and handling horses is key, as you'll need to feel confident and safe working with them during the course.

    3. Interest in Equine Health – A genuine interest in equine welfare and health will drive your learning and understanding throughout the course.

    While prior specialised knowledge is not necessary, the course is designed to build your skills from the ground up. If you're already involved in equine care, you’ll find that your existing experience will give you a huge advantage.
